Texas a&M Is Beautiful
The facilities on campus are great! All the buildings are easy to access. We are currently under major construction of the athletic centers, buildings and dorms. So, once those are completed, the campus will be even better. I love being on campus. I think it's beautiful to just hang out on a pretty day and do homework outside. It has such a great feel and everyone is so friendly. There's no place I'd rather be than at Texas A&M.

Living on Campus
When I lived on campus, I lived on the Northside. Within the northside, you have really old buildings and newer buildings. I lived in the newer, honors dorms. They were extremely nice, including your own bathroom. It's nice to live on campus because you get to meet so many people and everything else is so accessible from there. Everyone is so friendly and it's so easy to meet friends. It's much cheaper than living off campus and you usually get a meal plan, so that saves in costs too. The food on campus is pretty decent and overall, as a freshman, it's great to live on campus. The amenities are great too. The food is close enough to walk, you can walk to our campus gym. The doctor on site is also extremely convenient.

Diversity
I feel like A&M is known for diversity. It is not often that you walk around seeing the same people everywhere. Unlike most colleges, we are not driven by sororities and fraternities. Though, I am in a sorority, it is not everything here. We have so many different organizations to be involved in. Many are devoted to helping the community and the world. Most of the time it doesn't matter where you come from, who your family is, how much money you have, it just matters if you have a heart for being an Aggie and a heart for the community. I rarely, actually never see anyone being put down for race or gender. Everyone is so friendly and accepting. There aren't many stereotypes here.
