Roo Express Is the Best Option – In the past few years, with enrollment skyrockting here at Akron, the Roo Express has added many new routes - one even transports you ten minutes off-campus to the shopping district. They run through the night, and can be contacted to pick you up whenever.

Work-In Progress – The parking situation has been much worse. The University has made great strides in adding parking, and has even added a new GIGANTIC parking deck south of campus. However, if you want to park in the popular deck (North), you must get to campus at least 30-45 minutes before your class. It's not uncommon for students to miss their class if they aren't prepared to get to campus early.

Average American University – The students at The University of Akron adhere to the dress code adopted by most other universities: the girls wear yoga pants and North Face hoodies, and the boys wear t-shirts and jeans. Our Polymer and Engineering programs bring in people from all over the world, and, also located at the center of an urban community, our university is quite diverse.
