Emergency Lights Make Nice Decoration
As a campus tour guide I always make sure to point out the emergency blue lights on campus. Their primary purpose is supposed to be in case of emergency if someone feels unsafe, but I only know of 3 instances when someone has used them. 1) A person was simply too lazy to walk all the way across the small campus 2) A person slipped and broke their leg (in our lovely New England weather, I'm sure) 3) Someone was testing if they actually worked since they never get used. As you can see, Babson is perfectly safe; I even leave my door unlocked even if I'm not in my dorm room because I know and trust the other people in my dorm enough that I know nothing will happen.

Constantly Connected
At Babson you'll find that people are always on the internet. We have wireless virtually everywhere (pretty much just the parking lots aren't connected). But this is a heavy load for the servers so the internet can be slow. Everyone is issued a laptop, so the public computers are RARELY used. Printing is unlimited, though the printers frequently jam because too many people try to use them at the same time (seriously people need to just go green! ...Babson joke, we love our green pride!!)

It's All Business
Babson is #1 for Entrepreneurship. We only have the one major: Business Management and Administration, but that means that every aspect of your experience is tailored towards your major! There are endless opportunities and the most supportive community I have ever been a part of!

It's All Business
Since everyone has the same major, all aspects of college life are geared towards YOU! The curriculum is split, half business classes and half liberal arts classes. They are all very hands on and almost all include a group project. The keystone to the first year at Babson is Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship, a class in which you actually start up and run a business, with elected CEOs, CFO, COO, etc. The workload can be a lot at times, but it is well worth it because employers flock to Babson with jobs and internships. The possibilities at Babson are really endless. I'm managing a double concentration, full year abroad, and participating in the honors program.
