Beautiful Campus Inside and Out
This campus is absolutely gorgeous, both the scenery and inside the buildings. Looks, however, are not everything. But the campus is pretty functional too. The gym could be bigger, especially considering the demand of students here, but they have everything you would expect a high end gym to have from machines to classes to a pool. We don't really have a specific student center, but the places where students usually hang out are also really nice. The library is gorgeous and has a panoramic view of LA and Marina Del Rey as well as many computers that have the latest software and good printing. There are things that could improve, but overall pretty good. Special things our campus has include an art gallery, coffee shops, tons of theatres, hangout rooms with arcade games and a diner.

Nice, but Expensive
The freshman dorms are pretty average, but sophomore living can be great if you get lucky with an apartment. The upperclassmen housing is also really nice apartments, but most people live on campus. You can find nice off campus housing if you get lucky and sometimes it is cheaper. Our housing is nice but pretty expensive.

LMU is a great place to go to school. The location is great and almost everyone that goes here is really nice. You just have to avoid getting sucked into partying too much, spending too much time at the great off-campus places and falling prey to the LA culture where looks and popularity come before school. If you balance schoolwork with having a great time in LA, you will do well.

Not Too Bad Unless You Ask for It
There are fairly strict rules about drinking, but they are not enforced as strictly. Parking is very heavily enforced and you will get tickets for parking illegally. Our school does allow things like hookah though, but only in designated areas outside for safety reasons. Judicial action will be taken against you if your drinking gets out of hand, though, but if you aren't stupid about it you should be fine.

Must Have a Car
Public transportation is just not good in LA. The school has a shuttle, but it's not the most convenient thing ever. You can take a bus right to Venice Beach or Santa Monica for only $1, but you don't want to be doing that all the time. You're going to want a car to get around. And get ready for a disastrous parking situation.
