Average Drug Scene.

The drug scene at California State University is not really big, however I do hear of many college students here drinking alcohol. I wouldn't necessarily say the school is big on drugs because most people are usually just smoking. Drinking games are huge like beer pong especially at fraternity related parties. Peer pressure as far as drinking and smoking is not huge, and most people tend to hangout with others who are into the same things as them. Policy enforcement is pretty strict here especially in the dorms where alcohol and drugs are not allowed.

Process Depends on Your Involvement

I think the financial aid received should be a reflection of your academic performance at the school. I do not necessarily agree with the way the school awards money to specific programs where students are not meeting satisfactory grades. I feel as though the most aid is awarded to those programs where grades are low, and the rest is awarded to students who excel in specific academics. However, the school skips the students that are B+ average, and immediately goes to students that are C+ because they are apart of Eop. I suggest that students try and apply for as many scholarships as they can to help pay for school.
