Physiology Major
I came to the University of Arizona because they are one of the few schools that offers physiology as a major through their College of Medicine. As I entered college as a pre-medical freshman, the education I have received here has greatly prepared me for my future in healthcare. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and always have their doors open. Within this major, you have the opportunity to choose which pathways and systems interest you and they are constantly adding new classes.

State of the Art Recreation Center!
Our facilities at the U of A are becoming better and better each year. Recently, they just added a whole new building onto our recreation center. This new building includes many more treadmills, elipticals, weight machines, a climbing wall, volleyball courts and much more! There are also running trails across our campus with designated stretching spots. The student union used to be of a pretty good size, that is until the new freshman classes kept getting bigger and bigger. It's always a long wait for the fast food restaurants inside and almost impossible to find a table during the normal lunch times. Overall, the campus facilities are hit-and-miss.

You Better Like Country Music (And Be a Female)
There aren't many good bars in Tucson. 4th ave can be fun on the weekends, but it can also be really expensive. If you're looking for cheap deals, your best bet is to go to Cactus Moon on Wednesday -- girls get FIFTY CENT well drinks from 8-10pm and then they're only $1.50 afterwards. It is a country bar, but after 10pm they play mostly top 40 dance music. If you are underage, don't have house parties. The cops will come break it up, red tag you, and hand out MIPs.
