Willing to Help Until You Get It
Almost every professor I have talked to at colby has gone out of their way to provide me help. From staying to almost 11 at night to one on one talks between classes, professors are dedicated to their students. I ended up sitting and chatting with almost every one of my professors last year and it honestly helped. I learned and was challenged by the material I was taking in. I think that's the most important thing Colby offers: great professors, new opportunities to learn and academic challenge.

History in Every Location
First, let me just say the campus is exceptionally beautiful. The only setback is how gigantic it is. The gym is far from the dorms but there are plenty of trails and sports to participate in. There are three different dining halls so you get your choice of foods, and three libraries with a different social atmosphere in each. Also, because there is nothing to do in town there is almost always something to do on campus. Colby goes out of its way to provide its students with things to do. Not bad overall.

Rough
At the beginning, obtaining a scholarship was simple just because I was given a very nice Colby Grant. Although I had to take out loans, it didn't seem like it would be a big deal to pay them off. Now heading into my second year I'm scrmabling to find scholarships since tuition has just gone up. With two younger siblings in private school and me stumbling through college it's going to be difficult to procure financial aid.
