Professors' Office Hours
One of the most surprising and so very helpful thing about NAU is that all of the professors are so accommodating. All professors are required to have a certain amount of "office hours" where students can find them and seek assistance; however every professor I have had at NAU is more than willing to meet you outside of their office hours if your schedule caused a conflict in meeting them during their assigned times.

Always Changing
The "Hot Spot", the eatery on North campus is delicious and everyday they have something different,and they put a menu of what will be served each day of the week online so you can check what is at the hot spot before you leave your dorm. All the other food stands in the student union are very clean and also yummy :-)

Parking Permits
No one really believes this until they are issued a parking ticket, but it is way easier to just buy a parking permit. After all the price of our parking permit is almost have the price of U of A or ASU, and we get to park ON CAMPUS and right by our classes depending on what permit you purchase
