Good Academics
The academics are great. You have a lot of student diversity in the background schools from which they came. Some students are from really good schools and others are from some more average high schools, but at Wooster, there is a way for everyone to succeed. There are a wide variety of classes ranging in different levels of difficulty.
The most distinctive academic attribute is the senior independent study program. Each student is given an advisor (a faculty member) who will assist them in a year-long project that is linked to their major.

Small Town Feel
Wooster has a small-town intimate feel, but without the feeling of claustrophobia. It is close enough to Cleveland (or the suburbs) that, if you have a friend with a car, you could easily leave for an afternoon or something. But there are still things to do in Wooster. There are cute, kitschy shops in the down town area, as well as many chains that are pretty close to campus.

What Off-Campus Housing?
it is pretty much non existant. Pretty much, everyone lives on campus.
