You Should Bring Your Own

It's not hard to find computer labs on campus but they might be crowded during finals or taken by classes occasionally. Printing is good because every semester you're given $5 worth of printing which goes really far but I wish there were more places to print from, the only place i know of is the library. The network is reliable and pretty fast, only crashes during class registration when everyone uses it. Almost everywhere is wireless but some places like the turf field on East campus are not, and it would be nice if they were to do work outside on nice days. Its best to have your own laptop and use it in academic buildings or in the dorms for best service.

Presence Should Be Seen More

Public safety is very quick to respond and very helpful when called which is great, but they're presence is almost never seen on or around campus. Some areas where dorms are or where students live are unsafe, especially when dark. The trail on West campus is widely called the rape trail because of how unlit and unguarded it is at night. Elkton road is also pretty unsafe and this past semester there have been several attacks on girls around these areas. I think campus safety and Newark police should be seen more, and not just on weekend nights where there is drinking.
