General Campus Aesthetics

The campus has three distinct architecture styles. There is the old stone faced section, the 70's style additions, and the new brick buildings. The campus has recently been updating and remodeling older buildings to keep their architectural beauty. The newer buildings however don't match these buildings and leave something to be desired. I wish that the campus had a more cohesive look and carried the beautiful architecture throughout so that it looked like a quaint old college.

Parking Spaces

I think that parking on my campus is fine. Other students complain about the distance from class and buildings but that is because our culture is accustomed to pulling right up to a building and going in. They have become lazy and unrealistic about walking. I personally enjoy walking around and there is beauty to find when one does so. So overall parking is fine and there is plenty of spaces and there are even buses that run all day for those who do not enjoy walking.

Have Not Had an Internship

There are many opportunities for an internship at my school. The above information varies depending on which field your internship is in. I have only done volunteer positions through my school working with a grad student in Wildlife and Conservation Biology. It involved going out into the field and taking surveys of the vegetation type suitable for New England Cottontails. It was a great learning experience and will help with my future career.
