Libraries
The libraries are really good. They're kind of 70's-ish. Lots of color, fun womb chairs. But they also have lots of good resources: writing center, research help, OhioLink, etc. It's a fun place to focus on work

Co-Ops
Amazing option. We have one of the largest co-op systems of any college. The food is much better than cafeteria food, and there's a lot of options for people who have dietary restrictions (i.e. kosher, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free) It's also cheaper to join.

Small Town
There's really not too much here. But, given that it's located in a small town, it's pretty good. We have a small movie theater that only plays one movie at a time, but it's usually a good one. Art gallery, few good restaurants, five-and-dime store, etc. I also think that we have a good relationship with the town.

Few Options, Good Quality
OK, so there's really not that many restaurants, and sometimes I get bored. But, the Feve, Black River, Lorenzo's, Mandarin are always good and they're pretty cheap too. Good vegetarian/vegan options.

Pretty Safe
Campus Security is really good here. I've never felt unsafe on Oberlin's campus. Make sure you lock your doors though so that there's no thefts and keep an eye on your bag. Things can happen.

Really Great
I love Oberlin. I feel at home here. There's good people, good classes. I'm from New York, so it was a bit of a transition to a small town, but I've never regretted my decision to come here.
