Visual Art Program Is Excellent – As a member of the Art Department, I must say that it is an amazing one. Although no portfolio is required to be admitted to the program, the art students and faculty are still of the highest caliber. The professors are down-to-earth, practical people who enjoy teaching their students and allowing their students to have free expression. I could not recommend this program highly enough.

Southern California at Its Finest – Point Loma has excellent weather most of the year. Winter, however, can be much colder and windier than many might think. This strong breeze is a result of being right on the ocean front. Often, the weather is gorgeous, but you should bring more than just shorts and tank tops.
