An Environment Worthwhile

Came to Tennessee State University because of a plethura of reasons. One happens to be because of my best friend and brother attending there. In my high school yrs I visit frequently, to hang out with my brother. Eventually people started noticing me with him and his good became mine. Attended A campus tour once with my dad and stepmom, to get a feel of what it would be like for a student at TSU. The tour lasted about an hour. Maybe a couple minutes more, but I loved every second I was there. Got familiarized with an reasonable amount of profesors on my frequent visits. Wishing they would be mine once I've arrived, but there was no chance. Cause my major was totally different from what they were teaching, but eventually met A professor dealing with my intended profession. They are willing to lend A hand, and give you the extra push to succeed. The energy, people, the total environment there is great. Would recommend A feqw of my friends to look into attending..

Transportation at Tennessee State University

A+

Carpool Is the Way to Go

Downtown Nashville is less than 10 min. away from campus. Riding with A friend would be the quickest and easiet way to go, if you intend on site-seeing and having a great time. The cost to get into clubs are usually around $10. There are many bars and clubs to attend. Tons of different types of people are walking around on club nights. Being so close to dowtown Nashvill;e is very convenient.

Greek Life at Tennessee State University

A

Greeks Environment

A handful of people are greeks. Different frat. or sororities tend to have different personalities I've noticed. I know plenty of people who think nothing of greeks and attend there parties too have a great time like everyone else. On the other hand, there some people who envy certain greeks and eventually try to become A certain one. Anyone is aloowed to attend the greek parties. I say if you would like to be A greek, go for it before its late. And if your not interested feel free to attend as many Greek parties as you please, if your just looking for A good time.

Drug Safety at Tennessee State University

A+

Smoke-Free Campus

TSU has over the years become A smoke-free campus. That was A great idea, due to everyone not liking 2nd hand smoke. Drinking is popular is one of the popular things to do. Not sure of any drugs, cigarettes. Really just depends on who your friends are.

Campus Strictness at Tennessee State University

A+

Policies on Campus

Security is strict, without your I.D. there is not entry onto campus. Campus protection has beefed up very well over the years. There are security gates at every entrance, advising drivers to show I.D. Security can be leniant sometimes, inside of campus gates. That's just because nothing extreme really goes on inside the gates of TSU. As I had mentioned before the campus environment if is friendly.
