Apartment Prices Good!
University Club apartments is amazing! I renewed my lease for my last and final year at UF. The staff get's things done, are friendly, and always make sure to make fun events for the community. Maintenance and parking are great. Price is 464 with utilities included. You do have to pay overages but mine is usually 24 dollars, even on hot summer months. Completely doable in my opinion. There are three different bus routes: the 9, 35, and the 36. Campus is only ten minutes away! We are far away yet close enough to Archer Road (main road here in Gville) were you'll find shopping centers, places to eat, and a movie theater. Best of all, you get your own private bedroom with a private bath and you have the option to lease it furnished or unfurnished. Overall awesome experience!

Semi Diverse
Lots of white students but you'll see your fair share of Asians, Hispanics and blacks. Haven't noticed any sort of discrimination against minorities (at least I haven't experienced any) but I am sure it occurs in small numbers. Overall feel at home, lots of organizations geared to different interests, race, ethnicity and are not excluding types. You'll find a group to click with regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, religion, race, etc.

English Program Is Amazing
If you're an English major, make sure to take classes with Professor Kenneth Kidd, Anastasia Ulanowicz, Avraham Balaban and Laurie Gries. They are AMAZING and will challenge you. Genuinely care about students and you will so look forward to going to class.
