The Right Choice
Slippery Rock Pa is a great place to be located. Besides the rain there are so many things that make it such an awesome environment. Main street is filled with things to do, places, to shop, and dining facilities to meet your needs. The campus is so close to the town that only a few minutes walking and your right in the middle of everything. The students are friendly, and everyone knows everyone. My favorite part of being here is the "Hello" Tradition, where everyone you meet you say hello to. The town, community, and university are an amazing mix. You couldn't ask for a better opportunity.

Unequal Influence
The drug and alcohol usage at Slippery Rock University are far different. I believe the consumption of alcohol on this campus is far more then the use of drugs. As far as pressure from other students to drink, it is rarely heard of. Most people are smart about how they drink here because they don't want to jeopardize there studies. But then again it depends on who you hang out with and if you attend a lot of parties.

Working Towards the Impossible
I have been in an out of the Financial Aid office plenty of times. They are very nice and encouraging, but they can only do so much. For me I have no help for getting any more money so they gave me a need based scholarship which helped a little, but in the end I still need more money to stay at the school I love. I do not have any tips on how to help get more because I don't know how to get more money.
