What are the rules about overnight visitors? Also, how is parking? Can the freshmen have cars on campus?

If you're going to live on campus, then you can get a permit and park your car on the parking deck. Otherwise, you'll have to park on the street. Overnight visitors have to park on the street.

What are the rules about overnight visitors in dorms, parking, and curfew.

They are really good with visitors. They have to be over 18 unless they are a recruit. You fill our a free parking pass at campus safety and a guest pass signed by your RA. No curfew.

Overnight visitors must fill out a guest pass and turn it into the residential assistant on the floor in which they are staying. There is only parking overnight in two parking lots: the one in front of Stephens Hall and the one by the football field.

I am not sure about overnight visitors or curfew because I never lived on campus, but students and faculty have to have parking permits in order to park on campus. There is also off-campus parking along the residential streets.

What are the rules about overnight visitors and curfew? Also, are there any other rules due to the religious affiliation, such as dress code?

Visitation ends every week night at midnight and at 2 a.m. on weekends. There is no dress code.

There are rule for dress codes like any other school. Overall, you can where what makes you comfortable. Since I am a commuter, I'm not sure about the curfew.

i know people who have had guests stay in their dorm or if opposite genders in a friends dorm. curfew is 11 on weekdays and 1 on weekends or something to that effect. Obviously there are not co-ed dorms. It is not very strict as long as genders are kept separately overnight and in living space. But i (being a girl) have gone into the guys' dorms a lot.

There isn't a dress code, but overnight visitors are allowed as long as they are same gender. Opposite gender are allowed until midnight Sun-Thurs, and 2am Fri & Sat

Are freshmen allowed to have cars on campus? How is parking? Also, are visitors allowed to stay the night in freshmen dorms?

I know freshmen can't have cars on campus, but I think sophomores can. Visitors are allowed (:

Freshman actually are allowed cars on campus but they get last pick in where they want to park so theres really no point in having a car. You'd have to take a bus to your car!

I took my car up Freshman and Sophomore year (living in the dorms). You should get a form in the mail--if you want parking, it should be sent in pretty much the next day. I always over-nighted my form just to be sure I got my spot in the parking garage. The spaces are hard to come by, so if you want one, don't wait to send in the form.

Freshmen can have cars but they are the last to be offered them. Upperclassmen get first pick (mainly because they can't live on campus where as freshmen and sophomores can). As a freshmen you don't really need a car though. Everything is in walking distance and if you do want to go somewhere else the buses are free to students.

Visitors are allowed to stay the night. The only thing is if you check them in after 11 on weekdays or 12 on weekends they have to give out some of their info to the front desk and have their picture taken for a visitor ID. Then they have to be checked out in the (I believe) next 24 hours. If you're in for the night before those times though they are fine and no checking in or out is necessary.

What are the rules on curfew and visitation in dorms? What are the rules for freshmen with cars? Also, are there any other rules I should be aware of?

Quiet hours start at 10 on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Visitor hours end at 1am on weekdays and 2am on weekends.

Visitation and curfew rules are not strictly enforced, we are treated as adults and expected to act as one. We are told the rules and expected to self enforce. Freshman with cars may purchase a parking permit to park off campus (remotely).

We have no curfew. People can come visit us when ever they want as long as we don't bother any of our neighbors. I don't have a car, so I don't know what are the rules for freshmen with cars.

The school is pretty laid back on curfew and visitation. Freshman have to keep their cars in the Remote Parking Lot. The only rule that is really important is that the school is really strict on drugs and alcohol, so it's better to not do those things.

I agree with what others have said. It's fairly relaxed. Just use common sense and be respectful of others.

Freshmen have to keep their cars off campus but it is not difficult to get there. There are visiting limitations that are not too strict.

Are there any rules I should be aware of based on the religious affiliation?

One Integrated Curriculum requirement is to take a Religion in Context class. Other than that, you wouldn't know it was affiliated with a church.

There is one religion class required but religion is not that enforced on campus.

There is a "religious studies in context" requirement everyone has to take but that is only one course and it covers a broad range of classes, some that are more focused on the historical or social aspects of the class then religion itself.

What are the rules on curfew and visitors in the dorms. Any other strict rules I should know about?

Quiet hours end at 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Visitor hours end at 1am on weekdays and 2am on weekends. None are strictly enforced by RA's.

the RA don't strictly enforces the curfew and visitor hours. As long as you are not bother the other people in the dorm, you are normally fine.

Weeknights the visting hours are until 12am and on weekends they are until 2am, but they aren't really strict on this.

There's no curfew but males and females can't be in the dorm after 11 pm on weeknights and 12 on weekends. Quiet hours start at 11 on weeknights and 12 on weekends, you can't make noise and be loud or you'll get in trouble with your RA.

No visitors of the opposite gender past midnight on weekdays, past 2:00 a.m. on weekends.

NO, my college allows visitors, but they don't want someone to "visit" for more than a day or two.

What are the rules about curfew, and having visitors in the dorm? Also, are freshmen allowed to have cars?

no. cant have the opposite sex cant stay at freshman dorms. yes

Freshman are allowed to have cars on campus. I did not dorm there so I'm not familiar with all the dorm rules. I do know that visitors are allowed in the dorms and there aren't any front desk workers to check when you leave or return.

On weekdays member of the opposite sex are to be out by the dorms by midnight, on weekends they must be out by 2am

No curfew and cars are okay.

In both the freshmen boys and girls dorms, the opposite sex must be out of the dorms by midnight. And freshmen are allowed to have cars on campus.

Curfew: Not really one. Visiting hours on weekdays are until 11 p.m. while weekends are until 2 a.m.

Freshman are allowed to have cars.

As far as curfew goes, there isn't really one. We have quiet hours, but they are not really enforced. You are allowed to have visitors, but you must be with them at all times and you have to let them into the dorm. Anyone is welcome to have a car.

I do not live on campus therefore I do not specifically know what the curfew time restrictions are. However, freshmen are definitely allowed to have cars; no rules against it at all.

Everyone is able to have cars because their are a lot of commuters at the school including me. Their is a curfew but it is very lenient. Specific rules I am not knowledgeable because I am a commuter.

For Freshman, on weekdays opposite sex friends have to be out by midnight; weekends it is 2am. You are allowed to have a car though, and it is free.

In the girls dorm on the weekeday males are not allowed to be present after 12 a.m. or a violation will be given, vise versa for the girls in guys dorms. Freshman are allowed to have cars and there is no fee for having a car on campus.

The curfew rule is that on weekdays males and females are not allowed after 12a.m. or violation will be given. Also the same goes for weekends at 2a.m. Lastly, everyone is allowed to have a car on campus.

I don't know all the dorm rules, as I don't live on campus. I believe Freshmen can have cars though.

Curfew for single-gender dorms is 12:00AM, which applies to the opposite gender and visitors. Freshman are allowed to have cars, but you need to apply for a residents permit to park your car.

yes

I believe that the curfew on weekends is 2am and 12am on weeknights. All Benedictine students are allowed to have cars.

What are the rules on curfew? Also, what are the rules about having visitors in the dorms?

Quite hours are normally 11-12 but these are not rigidly eforced. There are specifically quite floors within the halls if that's what you want. There is no curfew. Visitors can stay in a room up to 72 hours. Most floors are co-ed

Thanks for the help!

Quiet hours vary on weekends and week days. Be respectful of others.
