Variety and Diversity
Because the University of Oregon is such a large campus it is able to offer a variety of programs and services for anyone. There are a plethora of opportunities and the universities close relations with NIKE has given students a great segue into their careers.

Buildings on Campus
Since getting out new president in 2009 he has made incredible improvements to campus and really beautified it. He made a 2020 plan that all buildings will be newly renovated or new by that time. There is constant construction and renovation happening all over campus and I can't wait to see it when it's done. We just got a new 220 million dollar basketball stadium donated from NIKE and all other cool additions like a building with a moat around it. All of our buildings will be LEED certified by 2020,

Frat Rats and Radical Hippies
UO and eugene in general is a mecca for radical activists and awesome people in general. Because it's a pac 10 sports oriented school you can find the typical college frat rat california boys who shop at the mall and mostly talk about parties they're going to or have been to. I like to highlight the people who want to create positive social change and leave the world better than they found it of which there is a plethora on campus. There are always people tabling for their cause or organization.

Business at UO
The business school is one of the best in that nation and sets one up for success. With such a huge pool of successful alumni getting a job after graduation is almost guaranteed. There is always a variety of events going on in the business school and a plethora of interesting classes to take.

The Dorms
Our dorms have been rated some of the worst in the nation but we are renovating and built 2 new ones that are absolutely beautiful. With time I have faith that we will upgrade but until then it's pretty much like sharing a prison cell with a stranger. Shared showers in most dorms and florescent lights. Only freshman live on campus.
