The Towers
The towers are usually where freshmen and sophomores live. There is some renovating going on outside, but they are really quite homey. They are much larger than the dorms at other schools, and the common rooms allow students to make new friends. The people on my floor and I are like one big family. It's home away from home.

Is Dorming Worth It?
I think it provides a great social experience, but it is kind of expensive. If you look at the price of off-campus around the area it's usually considerably cheaper.

Off Campus Housing!
It's really a toss up between on/off campus housing. There's a lot of places to get an apartment that is close to campus, you don't even need a car. Plus, parking on the street is better than paying for a parking pass at the university. The price for renting someplace for one year, a two-bedroom apartment, is a little cheaper than dorming 2 semesters at school.
