Diversity in the City
Chicago can be said to have many segregated areas and neighborhoods. When you look at the student body of DePaul University however, you will see all of the many cultures, races, ethnicities and religious backgrounds come together in one place. DePaul makes it their mission to eliminate all types of discrimination by allowing students to feel comfortable with who they are and receive an excellent education.

Easy to Avoid
As far as the dorms policies go, they are regulated when there is reason to believe illegal activity is occurring. If it is not obvious, the administration does not often go out searching to get students caught. Most students live off campus which does not give the authorities much control over what students do in their spare time. The city police also are not too concerned with arresting students for underage drinking when there are crimes of higher priority.

Insightful and Inspiring Staff
I have never felt a greater connection with my professors until I arrived at DePaul. In nearly every class, the professors have an interest in what they are teaching and are great at getting their students involved in the topics as well. The class sizes primarily range from 15-30 students which allows the professors to get to know their students on a much more personal level.
