Everyone Looks the Same
Even though Providence College is has an overwhelmingly white population, somehow all of the white students just look the same. Comparable to a J. Crew ad.

Uncalled for
All of the rules to keep hard alcohol off campus just results in house parties in upperclassman houses. The rules such as parietals are ridiculous which means you must sign members of the opposite sex into your dorm and they can only stay until midnight on weekdays and 2 am on weekends.

Dirty
The off-campus houses are disgusting and broken down. The only reason I can see for living in one would be to get away from parietals. Also the houses are not in a very safe area.

Too Conventional Without Enough Options
Unless you are a devout Catholic or an extreme partier you should look elsewhere. The curriculum is very strict and does not allow for individual thinking. There is not a great variety in student organizations or things to do on the weekends.

Aim for the Merit Aid
The overall financial aid at PC is not great. However, being in the honors program gives you a merit scholarship between 1/2 tuition and full tuition. PC also gives a small amount of merit scholarship to other students
