I Don't Have a Major, I Have a POE
At Juniata, we don't have majors. Instead, students declare a program of emphasis. I am the only person at my school with a POE of Sociology and Legal Studies. That seems strange, and honestly, not even a possibility. However, it is the case because I have a Individualized POE, one that I made to personally fit my needs. I have ambitions to become a prosecuting attorney, and without a Pre-Law program at Juniata, I designed my own curriculum. My school allows me to have two advisors, who are wonderful, although I have many other professors whom I know on a personal level that are willing to help me in any way I might need. Being a Sociology and Legal Studies POE at Juniata has been absolutely wonderful!

Always Available
While the speed of the wireless connection is not always the best, the availability of campus computers is never a problem. The school requires that students own their own computers, but also provide options to use campus computers when needed. There are several computer labs available to students, as well as campus printing options. The campus Technology Services department is extremely helpful when technological problems arise.

Convenient
There hasn't really been a problem for many students in finding a parking space in close proximity to their dorm, or their desired destination. The parking permits have a reasonable price. All students are permitted to bring a car to campus, although there is a designated parking lot for freshmen. The other lots are often used by freshmen as well, though. As for the need to have a car, there really isn't one. Everything on campus is within walking distance, the most time needed to travel from one end of campus to another is 5-8 minutes.
