Academics at Vanderbilt
The majority of students do Arts and Sciences however the other schools, Peabody, Engineering, and Blair Music are very good. The courses are very rigorous and sometimes demanding but we have some of the most qualified professors. The ones I had will almost always be available to help and going to class is worth it.

Good but Tiring
The Freshman area of campus is host to the better, in my opinion dining hall. The choices are rotated and there are always a lot of options except for the on the weekends. There is a lot to eat from here of the various "munchie marts" on campus. The "upperclass" dining area called Rand is a bit more traditional and the food choices are mediocre but still good. I know there will be more additions in the future. I think 14 meals a week is sufficient for upperclassmen.

Financial Aid
They claim they give all students some money but this isn't true. I know my family, and two friends who are all minorities did not receive financial aid and all of us have two children in college. I also know of students who receive plenty so it really could go either way.
