The library is only at capacity during midterms and finals. Most times, people only go in to get something from the Starbucks they have inside. The computers here at Clark Atlanta University are pretty up to date. Most of the computers in the library are Apple MAC desktop computers. Most students have a laptop and just do work from their room, which can become difficult sometimes due to the poor signal of WiFi.

The drug scene at Clark Atlanta is quiet. If a person is doing "drugs", the most is just smoking. But the distractions, just like at any other college or university, could suck you and there is a possibility of you never getting out. There is alcohol at every party either free or cheap to buy. No I.d. required or confirmation of age needed. If you chose your crowd and make your decisions wisely, you have nothing to worry about.

So far, I'm about 75% satisfied attending Clark Atlanta University as a freshman. Due to financial reasons, I did not get to attend many homecoming events, including the homecoming dance itself. It was disappointing. But other than the costly activities, I'm content. The professors are great, the staff is warm. Being that I'm far California & I've never been away from home like this before, CAU made me feel comfortable and welcomed as soon as I stepped foot on campus. Clark Atlanta University was the third school I got accepted to & I got accepted on the spot. I had always wanted to end up in Atlanta for college so I knew it was meant to be.
