Not a "College Town," but Not Too Shabby
The Keg is the most lenient-- there are high schoolers that frequent it during the summers. For a more relzed 21+ scene, try the Celtic Knot, Bar Louie, Prairie Moon or Bat 17. It's hard to go out on the cheap, just keep that in mind.

It's Almost Always Cold
Yes, you're on the beach. And if you're lucky, you'll have beach weather for the first week that you're there (recall: you arrive in mid-September), and then for a couple of weeks right before summer break. So, enjoy the 3 weeks out of the year that it's temperate. The rest of the time you'll be shuffling around in your Northface and earmuffs. You DO get used to it, though.

All-Star University
It's filled with all-stars, and it has all-star amenities. Close to the greatest city in the country, picturesque and on the beach, tons of athletic events that actually receive national attention, more diversity and cultural enrichment than anywhere else, and let's face it: People work extremely hard. You will meet the most interesting and driven people you ever have, and chances are, you're one of them, too!
