The Hill That Sits Ontop of Waltham

Waltham is by far not the nicest city north of Boston, yet it isn't the worst either. Many students tend to stay either on Brandeis or on Moody/Main street in order to avoid any unfriendly confrontations with locals. We tend to keep to ourselves and they keep to themselves. Moody street however, is blossoming with life. On any given night, it's the lively part of Waltham, providing bountiful entertainment for anyone seeing music, food, drinking, or even a nice quite walk along the Charles.

Collaberation & Faculty

I love being a science-oriented person at Brandeis, especially since it feels (to me at least) like EVERYONE is. Obviously not everyone is a science major, but there are so many of us and we all love to collaberate, that you get to know so many other people in your major. On top of having the ability to collaberate with others on assignments, etc. you can tell by sitting in on their lectures that the faculty are extremely passionate about what they are teaching and they want you to do well. Same with the TA's!

Best Internships Around

I have had three internships on campus and I have loved each and every single one. The professors are easy to approach and want you to work in their labs. You are usually given a project right away and get to work directly with the professors or a postdoc.
