Professors
The professors at Santa Clara are always available to help the students. If there is a conflict with their office hours they will schedule a day where it works for students. They are very flexible and understand that students are busy with homework,projects, clubs, etc. They offer help and suggest classes that one should take based on one's interests.

Drug Safety
SCU is great at having a mandatory meeting at the beginning of the year where they discuss these issues and talk about real stories that have happened. They discuss how to be safe and the spots where one can ask for help. They give tips and offer a place where one can go talk to someone about these types of issues. They say it is a choice you will have to decide. Students will drink or smoke(outside of campus), but they know the consquences. (drinking is more popular) There are rules where one cannot drink in the dorms because they will have consequences.

Aid
SCU gives decent amount of aid based on your needs and counselors are available to discuss your financial aid. They will keep you informed and if there is a problem they will work it out with you or let you know what form(s) you need.
