Amazing Athletics
As a non-athlete and solely as a fan, UConn sports are pretty much unparalleled, at least in New England. Men's and women's basketball as well as football draw huge crowds. It is frustrating at times to get tickets to the men's basketball games because of the lottery system, but everyone will get their chance eventually. If you don't have tickets, watching the game with your friends is just as fun and they play the games on tvs all over campus.

It sounds cliche, but college is really what you make of it. You are in complete control of your life for the first time. There are so many activities and opportunities available. You can do a complete 180 and change for the better (or worse.) Overall, everyone is pretty accepting here. It's not too hard to find your niche and group of friends.
