Plenty of Labs, Not Enough Macs
There aren't enough macs on campus but plenty of computer labs and 24-hour labs as well. I wouldn't want to go to any college without a laptop, but at jmu it's possible to do schoolwork without a laptop. I would much rather have one though for my own activities and for working in my dorm. The labs are never really that crowed, except ashby lab where freshman have to take tech level one tests. The only complaint I have is that occasionally it's hard to connect to wifi in the library and some places that are supposed to have wifi are extremely hard to connect to. I hate not having wifi in my dorm as well.

Great Safety
There is a great sense of safety on campus. There are emergency phones all over campus and I've very often walked back from the library very late at night and felt completely safe.

Need More Late Night Buses
The transportation system in harrisonburg via buses is great! I use them to go to wal mart or the mall and use the bus often to get from class to class that are across campus from another. The only thing I would change is that there should be more late-night buses during the week because during the day I have classes and then usually something in the early evening that if I went to wal mart or something after my classes, then I wouldn't be back in time for my night activities. And also, I wish that there were a few more places that the buses went.
