Never Had a Problem With It – Well known labs get crowded, but there are a lot of computer nooks and labs within department buildings. If you know where to look its easy to find a computers. Wifi is also available and easy to access.

I Never Lived on Campus, but Haven't Heard Terrible Things – I have never lived in any of the campus housing. I have never heard of any complaints and I know there is remodeling and rebuilding of dorms almost every summer to keep them up to date.

They Suck and Use to Much Money – Our athletics department is not the greatest. We have an amazing soccer team and basketball team that bring in a lot of money. Our football team is a joke and because of their failures and coaching issues tuition has been increased and more money is lost than gained.

It Is a Dessert – Albuquerque is a dessert, it has a mild winter with a few snow storms. The spring is generally windy, relatively warm during the day and freezing at night. Summers are hot and pretty cold at night. Falls are windy and cold. Weather can be pretty unpredictable, but when it is nice its worth it!

There Are Some Cheap Ghetto Apartments and Some Really Expensive Nice Apartments, and Medium Priced House Rentals – There are definitely plenty of options for off campus living. There are cheap apartments in the area, but they are poor quality and not in the safest areas. There are one or two really nice apartments in the area that are gated and secure, but they are pricey. My roommate and I pay about $1,600 a month for a gated apartment complex that is pretty nice and consists mostly of students. There are also houses near campus that are in a decent price range, but the areas referred to as the "student ghetto" and has a high crime rate.

I Haven't Interacted With the Health Services Much, and Security Is Not the Greatest. I have never felt unsafe on campus. I have heard some alarming stories from fellow class mates that are pretty scarey, so I avoid library basements alone. Keeping your doors locked are a must the area has a lot of petty theft, and you don't want to be alone after dark in the area. As for health I am not to sure I know we have student health resources, but I have never dealt with them.

Albuquerque Isn't That Big of a City, but Offers Enough to Keep Most Entertained – UNM is located in Albuquerque, NM it is a unique town. Albuquerque is a pretty small as far as cities go. There is a lot of cultural aspects in Albuquerque that are interesting to a lot of people especially if they are not from New Mexico. UNM's location is nice because it is near the Bosque and the Sandia Mountains that offer a lot of great recreational activities that allow you to get out of the city. If your into city life Albuquerque also offers a variety of clubs and bars along with shopping opportunities, but not on a large scale like other cities.

Not That Prominent – There are sororities and frats, but they are mainly present for events to raise money for their organization or for partying. Greek life does not dominate UNM and is not determine status. I personally have no interest in it, but have a few friends that are in sororities that enjoy the party aspect of it.
