You Could Do a Lot Worse...
The dorms at Bard are that bad. I lived in a trailer my freshman year, but hey, everything was new and clean, and I had a HUGE room. There are some pretty sick upperclassmen dorms, but you have to just get lucky to live in them sometimes. There are a couple of crappy dorms, but hey, that's the same everywhere. Honestly, where you live is what you make of it. If you surround yourself with good people, and make your room your own, you'll be fine.

Boys, Boys, Boys
Ladies (and gay men) put on your high-heeled shoes, cause there are some sexy mancakes at Bard. True, the pickings for the ladies can at times be a bit slim (be sure to check out the rugby or lacross practices) but for the gays, it's an all you can eat buffet. The gay crowd tends to be a bit queeny, but there are some good, level-headed ones in the mix as well. Lots of hippers, so if that's your thing, go for it. Also, lots of foreigners withs sexy accents.

Meh. Rain and Snow, but Pretty Springs and Falls
It's the north, so it's cold, lots of snow, and yes, rain rain rain. But when it's warm and sunny out, it's amazing. Spring and Fall are the best times to be here at Bard. So, overall, average weather for where we are.

Amazing Classes and Professors.
You can learn a lot here at Bard. They offer an amazing range of classes, and the professors will blow your mind. If you're picking a school based on strong academics, Bard is the way to go.
