A Few, Delicious Options
There aren't many off-campus dining options at Kenyon, but the few local establishments (Middle Ground Cafe, the Gambier Deli, etc) are excellent and have a great atmosphere. Not to mention the other options 10 minutes away in Mount Vernon.
Although there aren't a plethora of off-campus dining options, it doesn't matter very much- as on-campus dining is built into tuition.

On-Campus Housing
Virtually all Kenyon students live on-campus. As far as quality of housing goes, it tends to vary from place to place. Some dorms are old (yet have charm) some are old (and don't have charm). Overall, the apartments are decent, and there are new renovations being made. But seniors definitely get the best options for apartments.

Virtually No Off-Campus Housing
You can count the number of off-campus housing options on one hand. Pretty much everyone lives on-campus.

The Good Samaritan Policy
Alcohol at Kenyon is there if you want it, but also can be easily ignored.
Kenyon has the Good Samaritan policy- basically, if you call Campus Safety for a friend who is in overly intoxicated, neither you nor your friend get in trouble.

There's Not Much, but What's the Need?
It is nice to have a car at Kenyon to get to the local WalMart and CVS. But there is little reason to leave campus.
