The food is very good and there is a wide variety but it is pretty pricey. The coffee stand is phony because they try to operate as a starbucks with out the quality or consideration. I stopped going there because There were charging more for starbucks coffee without the taste or the customber service.

Hard Getting Real Live Help – The offices are there but they are mostly student run, and i often felt i was talking to a student less informed, or they would just be the middleman between me and the actual professional on call. Its frustrating to not speak directly to whom you are directing questions. I would suggest to anyone dealing with the financial aid office to be diligent and ask as many questions as you have to in order to feel you have gotten a complete answer. Do not feel like you are pestering the staff, it is their job to help you. Be persistent and always check back, do not wait for confirmation from them. Be proactive.

University Drug Use – Honestly, I cant say for certain the actual amount of on campus drug use at my University at this time. I don't associate myself with drug users so the less i know the less i observe in my immediate surroundings. My grade for this subject is primarily based off of the town of Hilo as a whole, because it is a small place and the observations I do see is not wholly in the school. Drinking is predominate, followed by or in conjunction with marijuana.
