Health & Safety at Colorado College

A-

Meh

There aren't really police on campus, but there is campus safety, and they're there when you need them, though no one ever really needs them, at least that I've heard of. Campus feels completely safe, there's usually only students on campus despite it's proximity to downtown. Even going off campus for parties doest seem sketchy, though most people would rather not go alone, but that's typical.

Academics at Colorado College

A+

Religion Major

I love the religion department, the faculty is all incredible, and very friendly and helpful. We have a religion majors lunch usually once a block, we have shirts for our department, and generally we all have a good time. The classes are like most other CC classes I've taken: challenging, interesting, and requiring a substantial amount of reading each night. I think that it gives you a solid understanding of religion with it's requirements, which ensure that you get an understanding of many types of religion and of course the various aspects and concepts of religion

Campus Housing at Colorado College

B+

Fairly Average

I would say that campus housing is pretty average...dorms for freshamn and sophomores are average, there are three different main dorms, all with different atmospheres to them. One dorm has the biggest rooms which are really nice, one is the "shitshow" dorm (always the place where people are meeting to party and drink) and one that has the strongest sense of community. The on-campus themed houses are pretty nice, and so are the other upper-classmen houses. There are also smaller dorms, and those buildings are beautiful, but the rooms are average sized. The apartments for juniors and seniors are fantastic, if seniors aren't living off campus, they definitely want to be there, as do most juniors

Guys & Girls at Colorado College

A

I Love the CC Look

Nearly everyone at CC is in good shape and cares about how they look. If you're going to CC, chances are you fit into the range of styles that are prevalent at CC and are probably attracted to people who are similar to you, so you'll find someone. There's someone for most everyone though: bros and the girl equivalent of bros, hipsters, hippies, outdoorsy/rugged types. There is definitely no lack in good looking people at CC.

Inside Scoop at Colorado College

Social Scene...WIN

CC has a fantastic party scene. Like most schools, parties are a big deal, but CC adds its own twist. If you're a fan of spandex, sequins, and all things 80s, or maybe just coming up with creative outfits for creative party themes, then CC is certainly right for you. The senior calendar, which is put out (for seniors only, but it makes its way around) 1st and 8th block plans one to three themed parties every night for the block, and that's a lot of fun. Free midnight breakfast at Rastall is put on once a block (which is fantastic for people with drunchies, or just people who could use some pancakes without using dining dollars). The types of people in general at CC are down to earth, happy, friendly people. "Work hard, play hard" would also be an appropriate mantra for CC students

Nightlife at Colorado College

A

Very Existent and Always Fun

night life around the springs is not so popular, but on campus there is always a ton to do for everyone. drinking is very popular, and while there are non-drinkers, on weekend nights, going out and partying is certainly the main thing to do. themed parties are what makes cc nightlife what it is, and everyone has a great time dressing up, drinking, and going out with friends to have a fantastic night. Drinkng during the week certainly happens, but unless it's 1st or 8th block, weeknight drinking is generally in a dorm room with friends.
