Very Safe
I feel totally safe at NYU. Campus Security is ever-present at the entrances of all the buildings. There have been no major incidences as long as I have been on campus

Big Variety
Especially at NYU Tisch, the student body is very diverse. A thing that most guys and girls have in common here is a strong sense of individualism, which they express through their alternative tastes in fashion and music.

Sports Are Not the Top Priority
Compared to other US colleges, the emphasis on sports is relatively small at NYU. While there are various sport teams which get some attention from the student body, sports are not such a big crowd puller as, for example, at USC.
