Classes and Homework
Classes at Lawrence University are offered in wide range of subject areas on a wide number of interesting topics, so finding classes that are interesting is easy regardless of the department. Most teachers are knowledgeable in their field and communicate well creating a great learning environment. The class sizes usually range from 10-50 people. This allows for excellent discussion opportunities. The small class sizes also allow students to have a close relationship with their professors.

Dining Hall
LU recently hired a new company to manage their dining facilities. Since the change, food quality has gone up significantly. The food is purchased from local vendors, and a lot of the produce is produced on campus. The ingredients are fresh and they try to accommodate a wide range of food preferences.

Drugs
The most common drugs on campus are alcohol and marijuana. There are 40 bars in a mile stretch just of campus as well as a campus bar, so alcohol cheap and easy to obtain. Marijuana is also smoked frequently. The pressure to drink and smoke is very low, though.
