Buses Are Good

RIT has a very nice bus system. Sometimes it can be a little late/early though so it can be easy to miss. Also, sometimes the bus drivers won't stop at a destination unless you ask them to. However, they do stop at a lot of places, and have a weekend shuttle that goes to the mall, a cinema, and other downtown places where students can shop and meet for fun.

School Spirit and Fun

RIT is a very spirited community, especially when it comes to hockey. It's actually kind of scary. But we're also spirited about activities that help others. There's always something going on that allows students to get involved and make a difference.

RIT has great labs that are up to date with software and technology, and the professors are awesome in that they actually know who their students are. You always hear about those colleges that only see students as social security numbers, but at RIT the professors know each student individually and interact on that individual, personal scale in order to teach effectively. You really feel cared about here.

RIT also offers a co-op program, which is pretty unique and offers real experience to students while they're still in school. I don't get to participate in it until next summer, but I know it will help me get a job easier!
