For a Small Private School There Is a Lot of Diversity
For the size of the school there are a good number of different ethnicities. The students are also from a variety of different of economic backgrounds.

Average Drugs
Drugs are more popular than I thought they would be. I would say a quarter to half the student body uses some sort of drug. Drinking is very prevalent on campus.

Overall Fairly Lax
They don't go out of their way to punish students. The thing they are most strict on is parking. As for drinking violations, don't be obnoxious or do anything to get you noticed and you will be fine.

Good Options
Overall there is plenty of parking though some of it can be a bit of a hike. Campus safety is big on parking tickets though. Our permit costs are VERY reasonable and I would say you definitely want a car on campus to get to Cedar Rapids and Iowa City

Pretty Good
Cornell is a great mix of social and academics. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved. The community is a safe and accepting one
