Financial Aid
Smith is very generous with aid. I think up to 60 percent of students are on some kind of aid, most of which is need-based aid. Merit-based aid is close to impossible to get. Many students on campus are on financial aid, so there's no stigma about it.

Nightlife
If you're 21+ the nightlife is great. There are tons of bars and restaurants. But if you're not, it's kinda limited. There is Divas though. I'd say that house parties/5 college parties are your best bet as those are free.

Not That Strict
In general, public safety is pretty lax on underage drinking. As long as your not obnoxious about it and are responsible you probably shouldn't have a problem. It really depends on which house you live in too. If you have parties in your room, just don't be too loud.
