Nice Variety
There's a pretty good variety of food available on campus; at the Silo there are a few fast food places like McDonalds, a Starbucks, a crepe stand, and a curry truck. At the Memorial Union there is more coffee and a wide range of other food that seems to be run more by the school and students rather than being part of a chain. I could probably eat on campus every day and never get tired of it, if I could afford to. There are also a few Cargo coffee stands scattered across campus.

Many, Very Involved Groups, but...
There are loads of different Greek organizations at Davis. While they occasionally do events involving the community, they don't seem to affect non-Greeks that much. As a non-Greek, I have heard female Greek students talk about how some of them treat their 'littles' harshly -- bordering on hazing. I doubt that that instance is generally true of all sororities or fraternities on campus, though.
