The Party Zone
I am fortunate enough to live on campus as a second semester freshman, so most of what I know is pure opinion and speculation. Off-Campus Housing is more commonly referred to as "the Party Zone," and often has to be patrolled by the college police in order to maintain some sort of social order.

So Cold!
Storrs is one of the coldest and windiest towns in all of Connecticut. The campus is big, so venturing out into the cold in order to go to class and other events can be a nightmare. Always bundle up!
