You Can Always Find One
Sometimes the labs get crowded, but there are enough you can find one that's empty. WiFi covers the entire campus and there's an extensive remote access setup. Either way, you'll be able to use what you need to.

You'll Get Bored Fast
There are several options in Lex but they do get old after awhile. The variety is actually decent for a town of this size. Cost differs by place, but most are reasonable. Be sure to check out Frank's and (for a night out) Cafe Michel's

There's Something for Everybody
Like any town in America, you have your good and your bad. For the most part, off-campus housing is easy to find and relatively nice (unless you live in one of the Greek associated houses). Safety is definitely not a problem overall. Most people leave their house/apartment unlocked.
