Local Atmosphere at La Roche College
La Roche College is very close to the city of Pittsburgh as well as McKnight Road - this is a long strip that has many shops and restaurants on either side - and Wexford, a town which also has many shops and restaurants. North park is also very close to La Roche which is great for activities and exercising. Although the college is close to all of this it is not in walking distance to any of it. There is a bus route but it is at the hospital which you can see from some parts of the school but in the night students may not want to walk that far by themselves.

Academics Offered at La Roche
I really think La Roche does a great job with their academics. All of my professors I have had at La Roche helped me with everything I needed and since my biggest class was with around 20 people this was very easy to do. The registration process for classes is very easy. We meet with our adviser and discuss the classes we should take based on our major - we then schedule our classes online. The workload can be tiresome - so I make sure to only take as many credits as I can handle. The teachers are very understanding with this and do their best to not schedule tests on the same days or give us too much homework/studying but when combining all of the classes the workload could easily get out of hand - this is why it is important to make sure you do not procrastinate and get your work turned by the assigned date.

International Affairs at La Roche
I really enjoy all of my courses I am taking at La Roche for my major. They are always so interesting and my teachers are so helpful. I tend to learn even more than what the class is even about. Some of my favourite courses were - Intercultural Communication, Cultural Geography, World Religion, World Politics and Macroeconomics. The classes are all very small so every student has a chance to participate and ask questions.
