Off-Campus Eating
There are a few places you can get to, but only by use of a cab or a ride from an upperclassman. There's places like Hooters, Applebee's, Red Lobster, etc., but by the time you count the cash from the cab there and back, you maybe have enough for a glass of water.

No Parking!
Hampton only allows you to have a car if you're at least a junior. That leaves sophomores up the creek without a paddle in terms of getting to and from campus if one chooses to live off-campus the next year (and one would). Sometimes if you're a sophomore and you have a job you can find a way around getting your car to campus, but usually, no dice. Freshmen can sometimes have cars if they're on the bowling team or something and need to drive to and from practice at a venue off-campus.

Pah!
Scholarships at Hampton are hit or miss. Either they like you and give you a full ride, completely overstep you, or give you about half. Usually, people lose their scholarships because they can't stay at a 3.3 GPA. Speaks for the student body, eh?
