Security Everywhere
For even our size campus, where you can get to any building in 10 mins or less no matter where you are. Security boxes are everywhere. I would say that nothing too large ever happens on campus. We have security and UPD around all the time and on call. However i would say the Cops have been power tripping lately with MIP's

Great Team, Forced School Spirit, Partying in Student Section Not Allowed
The Football is great and student section is always packed. However, alot of school pride feels forced upon and not as exciting. Many people arent there for the game and most of the stadium leaves at half time unless the game is extremely close.

The Greek community is turning around
While there have been bad reports about Greeks at MSU in the past. Individually, some houses are changing for the better and are working hard to make Greek life more prominent at MSU. I have heard the opinions of independents about Greeks, and its clear much of that will be changing. I loved joining one of the fraternities and believe I have a ton more fun there then if I stayed Independent and in the dorms.
