Madison, Wisconsin
Madison is an awesome town with a crazy night life scene and abundant activities during the day. The city is large enough that it has everything you could need but small enough that its not overpowering. I feel extremely safe on campus and have never felt threatened or uneasy. State Street, the center of Madison, is a pedestrian only avenue that includes many popular restaurants and stores. There is always something interesting happening on State Street.

Wisconsin
Football is a big deal at Wisconsin. Student season tickets sell out in under 30 minutes and tickets to big games can go for over $200. The parties before games are crazy. A Badger game day experience is something you will not forget.

Financial Aid Is Limited
Financial aid, especially for instate students, is fairly limited. It is all need based. I received pretty much no financial aid.

Good Food, Decent Variety.
The food at Madison is very good. My only complaint would be the lack of variety. Currently, for the southeast dorms, an old outdated building is still being used for the food service. However, next year, there is going to be a new building done and it should provide a lot more space for variety.
