Professors
The professors at UM are generally very good compared to other schools. Additionally, because of the (generally) small class sizes, they get to know you on a personal level, and are very willing to work with you.

Computers
wireless access can be spotty at times. Computers in library however work perfectly fine.

On Your Own
Definitely consult with Miami natives before moving off campus. public transportation is iffy at best in MIami, and you do not want to end up living in a bad part of town.
