You'll find that your RAs do not care if you drink in the dorms--just be very smart and discreet. My friend is an RA and he told me that RAs are only allowed to write up students when caught. Ithaca's Student Auxilary Safety Patrol (SASP) occasionally makes rounds in the dorms during major party weekends. They cannot do much except report you to Public Safety.

I do not qualify for financial aid, but I have received a significant amount of merit money. The money is renewable every year and helps my parents.
