There Is No Nightlife at Alverno.

There is not much going on at Alverno. Campus is pretty residential and they are the 2nd quietest dorms in the nation. Pretty rigid rules. If you want nightlife, head down to the Eastside by the University Wisconsin Milwaukee campus.

Not Your Average College Experience.

Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out of the typical college experience because there aren't large house parties or Greek life and that sort of vibe to our campus, so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. But the class sizes are small and intimate, the teachers know your name (again could be a pro or con) you start to get to know students better and there are always campus events going on, everything from Study with a Waffle Night to Global Union, a world music festival open to the public. Alverno's name pulls weight in the community and the school events are often intertwined with community events, It's nice to feel like my network is larger than just the campus; it extends to the city of Milwaukee.
