Very Diverse
Because it's an international school, people come from all over the world. While the stats say over 70% are from within Canada, many of those are Canadian immigrants and the amount of students from other places in the world is astounding. I've heard that the largest student society at McGill is the Pakistani one and it wouldn't surprise me at all, international students definitely don't stand alone. In residences (namely New Rez) it seems like Canadian students are almost in a minority to American and international students. If you're looking for a diverse experience, McGill is definitely a good place to find one.

Serious Nightlife
The drinking age in Quebec is 18 so students are legally allowed to have as much fun (in terms of alcohol) as they want. Every night of the week you can find people going out to bars or clubs for certain events. There's always something going on. HOWEVER the frat scene is almost non-existant so if that's what you're looking for, I'd stay away. Everything is focused around bars and clubs with some house parties.

Very Unique Experience
The whole McGill atmosphere is different from other schools. Drinking is incorporated into the atmosphere in a way that sets it above any other school. Frosh Week is the initial bonding week before school starts where everyone gets to drink and have fun while meeting new people. While the administration of the school is pretty bad (making it necessary to stay on top of your courses yourself) the pros of McGill definitely outweigh the cons.
